On Base Resources Airmen Can Use to Their Advantage
Here are the top 3 resources you can use on an Air Force Base
Essential On-Base Resources Every Airman Should Utilize
On base resources are usually taken for granted especially by lower enlisted personnel because of the lack of information dissemination.
But I'm here to tell you there are great resources for you to save some money and time. Who doesn't like to save money, particularly those of you that bought that 30% APR Hellcat, these resources will help you save a couple of bucks.

#1: Outdoor Recreational Center
Outdoor Recreational Center or outdoor rec is a small shop on base that does cheap trips, discounted Disney/universal tickets, and they rent out goods from bikes to snowboards. Outdoor rec caters to active, reserves, and even veterans. So, if you are bored or planning a trip to Disney hit up outdoor rec to save you some money on tickets or go on cheap trips for hiking, snowboarding, or rafting. You can also get a lifetime free pass to all national parks in the United States, so get going!

#2: Space A Flight
Now only on certain bases you have the privilege of utilizing space A flights but when you do have that capability USE IT. Space A flights allow you to take available spots on heavy carrier aircraft going anywhere for FREE. Usually each base has a facebook page dedicated to space A flights and it's a first come first serve system unless a higher ranking officer takes your spot which they are allowed to do. It's pretty much a free flight! You can use space A to get closer to where you want to go and take a connecting flight to your destination, which can lower your airfare by quite a bit. So, if you have Space A use it.

#3 Airman's Attic
The Airman's attic can be a hit or miss but there are a lot of used uniforms. If you need to buy some uniform you can get them cheap but used at the airman's attic! They also sell furniture, movies, toys, and civilian clothes so it won’t hurt to go take a look. I once found a flight suit that fit me perfectly for 5 bucks. You never know what you’re going to find in the airman's attic.
